Deodorant
I once had a dream to make a deodorant that smelt exactly like chocolate (or, to be more precise, melted chocolate). Last week, I spotted a can of Lynx Chocolate deodorant. My heart sank. I thought my dreams had been shattered into shards of a broken dream. That was until I smelt it. It smells NOTHING like chocolate!!! I was so happy! And at the same time, so infuriated! Why would they call it Lynx Chocolate, and have an entire ad making you think it’ll smell like chocolate, when it doesn’t? Doesn’t bother me though (obviously it does) because I’m going to melt chocolate into a can and sell it. Also, I like the smell of clean washed clothes, but that smell doesn’t last long, and rather than just wash them again, I’m going to sell the scent of washing powder in a can.
While we’re on the topic of cans, I bought a red bull energy drink Thursday night. It cost me $6! I was outraged.

Elevator
I was thinking about these two things in year 11 maths.
1. If you have an elevator and it’s filled to the top with water, and you’re inside it and the cable snaps, what happens to you when the elevator hits the ground, assuming that the elevator is indestructible?
2. When there’s a solar eclipse, how large is the shadow that the moon casts onto earth? And if you’re in the sky or in space, can you see the massive shadow moving over the earth? That’d be cool.
“Mah name’s Adaio”
Meet Adele.
She is from Shanghai. Now, I know you’re all thinking, “There’s no WAY she is asian! She blends in so well with the rest of us Australians by the way she gives that cool sideways peace sign, and uses an umbrella when it hasn’t rained in weeks.” But trust me, she’s from Shanghai. Julian has lived with her all year, and I’ve lived with her 6 months. When asked what her name is, she replies “Adaio”. She can’t pronounce “Adele” properly. Here’s a short clip of me scaring her while wearing this mask I bought for Halloween.
Now, when she isn’t mumbling sweet nothings to us, she’s leaving her food in the kitchen for all to enjoy. Enjoy!

Now here’s a fun one! She was cooking something at about 7am, and when she left she forgot to turn the stove off. I woke up at about 11 to find this cracking and popping mess. Oh what a joy!

Cabbage water?

Ok…so now comes the time where I ask “Why?” Why does she cut up an orange and leave it there? Why does she put an apple and a knife on the table and leave it there? Why butter some toast and leave it there? Maybe you can answer these questions.
Tall Structures
