Just a quick one. Not sure if you get these ads in Victoria, or Canada, or wherever you are, but this ad makes me laugh. Crazy accents. Make sure you watch til 1:04, oh, and 1.46. Umperfictions? Even bitter? Gold!

Do New Zealunders think Australian accents sound ridiculous? I’ve often wondered. To me, the NZ accent sounds like a foreigner trying to do an Australian accent … and failing miserably.

We have a new zealander in my course at uni. Her make up is thin lizzy!Not it actualy matters but i thought it was funny.
And yes we get these ads over here..there great for drinking games.
New Zealand to me is like what the Flandereseses are to the Simpsons. It’s eerily similar but has this, weird, Pat Boonish quality to it.
I actually can’t tell the difference between an AUS and an NZ accent. To me they sound exactly the same. Although I’m guessing by your comment that you can successfully pronounce the letter E!
Yeah, I can’t tell the difference between a regular Canadian accent and a Newfie accent.

hahaha i repeatedly say Thun Luzzy for ages after I see these ads….Reece doesn’t like it! they crack me up. almost as awesome as the beached is whale on youtube.
