Write what you know about.

  • Listening To: Sergei Rachmaninoff
  • Light Status: Off
  • Skin Condition: Oily

Hello blogging world, and thankyou Jon for intriducing me to this site. Where to start. They say to start at the beginning, but that’s ridiculous. I don’t have time to write from the beginning. I’ll take it from the middle and cut out all the good bits. Do you reckon plastic surgeons ever say that to skin cancer sufferers? “Doctor, what skin will you be using off my body to fix my cancerous spot?” “Well, I’ll take it from the middle and cut out all the good bits.” I’m sorry, where was I.

If it’s rhetorical, does it need a question mark?

Isn’t maturing an amazing thing. Amazing might not be the right word. Maybe I meant annoying. Don’t get me wrong, I have nothing against it, and I myself wish to get as mature as one can get, because I’ve come to realise that the most funny individuals are those that are incredibly mature, but sometimes act really immature and it’s hilarious. But back to the story. Ever think back to your past and go, “I can’t believe I did that,” or, “I can’t believe I thought that back that then.”? And that makes me think about the present. I look at myself now and go, “in the future, I’ll more than likely look back on me now and think “I can’t believe I said that to that person” or “how could I not play Donna Lee yet?”" (Word of warning though, stay away from quotation marks inside of quotation marks. They can get messy (or dirty)) (and stay away from brackets inside of brackets)

I have lots to talk about. Remind me to tell you about Rachmaninoff. This is the first time I’ve actually really listened to him. A friend of mine brought in a piano book that had some Rach songs in it, and I knew one of them. The Prelude in C# minor. That inspired me to go home and listen to him, so I am, and I think I have a new favourite.
